The client has an e-file PIN because of the ongoing problem.  I have advised the client to provide a letter to support the claim.

Type up an explanation of the situation.

Convert it to PDF.

Attach that PDF to the tax return under a category called "ACA Explanation".

Thank you.  I hadn't fully read the rejection before I had my coffee:)  The client is providing the explanation as required.
