Schedule C should default to materially participate. You may have input that affects the selection of line G. To resolve this issue, we may need more information in regard to business income input. For the Individual module, please make sure the "Did not "materially participate" is not checked under Business Income (Schedule C) > Other Information input screen.

there is a section at the bottom of the schedule C for joint ventures that asks for active versus passive.  I have accidentally entered a 1 for active here and it caused the material participation to misrepresent.  Check that
