I have called support and not been assisted correctly? I have a critical error on form 8911 instructions not being released yet the IRS website states reviewed 1/2023. Support told me they can't escalate and either I override the error or wait? I advised it is possible the update didn't pass and requested they have it investigated. I am frustrated that I have to override a critical error and Intuit won't investigate. It is March and the form is not new. Can anyone advise how to get a open ticket for them to investigate? Thanks

You aren't going to like the answer ------------- you need to talk to support. The folks here just try and mop up the floors after Intuit has made a mess. We have no special powers to do something like that.

IRS released the final form instructions only on March 13 (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i8911.pdf) and posted that on March 15 (https://www.irs.gov/forms-instructions-and-publications).
Intuit's form status webpage shows that "[f]inal form without watermark was released on January 25, 2023. However, instructions are not final. See critical diagnostic."
Today being March 19, it may take a couple more days for Intuit to finalize the form provided the final instructions do not change anything that has already been programmed. I would probably give them until closer to the end of this week or early next week.
Since the form is not wartermarked. If you are fully confident that what you have on F.8911 and the return are correct and you can't wait to e-file, you can try checking the box to ignore the diagnostic and see whether the return will get through.

That's exactly right. Intuit wants to make sure we're not treated as common law employees. They don't tell how how to mop up the mess. We can choose to smear it, white-wash it, or invent our own ways. Just to be clear, we also have to bring our own supplies. 😆

You bring your own supplies? The lock on the Intuit supply closet is like the lock on the barn door here. Just jiggle the handle and help yourself to their supplies.

To complete Form 8911 for the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit, you will need the following additional details:
