I do not know what state you are in. But here in Illinois the state does not get accepted untill the federal is accepted. So if the federal is rejected then so is the state. What I am trying to say is the problem has most likely to pertain to the federal income tax return. Wrong social security number wrong fein nuber posted for w2. In other words go thru your federal return to find the error that is causing both state and federal to be rejected.
