ok very funny! Let me clarify. If I do not use Esignature option how do I generate a 8879 form and send to client? Do I manually have to download the form and then send upload to document request for their signature? Seems alot of steps compared to Esignature but there is a cost with that. How does everyone else do the efile step with clients?

The 8879 should be generated automatically by the software. If you are face to face with the client, print and sign. If you are e-mailing copies, they would have to print the 8879, sign it, and return it to you.

if you have a paid adobe account you can eSign through its interface. I have a CC license and have all of my legal docs signed through it - at no additional fee. 😏

We use Verifyle as our client portal and it provides the means to e-sign with KBA.
