I have been a user of ProSeries, however scaled down my practice and sold clients to another preparer, keeping just a few for myself. I'd like to switch to ProConnect but want to know if my data in ProSeries files will convert over to ProConnect?
Also, does ProConnect have the same look, feel and functionality of ProSeries? Is the main difference the cost is per return rather than a flat software fee?

ProSeries can be converted. https://proconnect.intuit.com/tax-online/data-conversion/
ProConnect Tax is based on Lacerte, so the look and feel are totally different from ProSeries. You can click the Orange "Try it free" on the right side of https://proconnect.intuit.com/tax-online/ and sign in with your current user name and password. Create a return and do everything except print or efile for free.
You do need an EFIN to use ProConnect.
