I'm looking to import client data from their QBO account, I do not do any bookkeeping for them, they do this on their own, and I just want to transfer the info to Proconnect to prepare their return.

It matters if you use QBO Accountant portal and have this client listed, or you are not their accountant user and intend to use their log in. I would start here:
