This is a 1040 for 2020 that filed before the American Rescue Plan was signed. The client has unemployment that qualifies to not be taxed. The 1040-X is correct, but due to the competing critical errors I can't file.

The IRS has *specifically* said to NOT file amended returns for this issue.
They plan on "fixing" it themselves.
You fix it/then they fix it.... I can only guess at the complications.
