My clients sold vacant land in CA. I’ve entered all of the info on Schedule D. Parcel #, address, price bought, price paid, expenses, etc. I keep getting error messages to put the escrow officer’s SSN or corporate #. None of that is on the escrow paperwork. Help!

Then contact the escrow company, or have your client do so. That info is required for e-filing.
