My client is an independent contractor issued a 1099 MISC. The also earned compensation as a Sole Prop not issued a 1099. I entered the compensation as Sole Prop on Schedule C, however to do not see the 1099 MISC (non employee compensation) reflected on Schedule C as well. Do i have to check a box or something for information entered on 1099 to flow through to Schedule C?

This is confusing: "I entered the compensation as Sole Prop on Schedule C"
Are they running as one business or as two? Because you don't "enter" the 1099-NEC; you enter their Business income, even if no customer ever uses 1099-NEC. And what box is filled in on the 1099-Misc?
