I cannot efile a client's 2020 federal income tax return on my ProSeries program. Is there a way to do it at this time or do I need to wait until 1/24/22?
You will have to wait until January 24 when IRS starts accepting returns again.
It was originally due 9 months ago. Why the rush to E-file now?
Follow IRS.gov, or follow Pro Series. Both tell us this stuff.
