I believe those are just estimated release dates.  But when the software breaks, this is why Intuit is afraid to tell us anything other than "this will be corrected in a future update."  They are afraid that everyone is going to be lining up complaining "but you promised it would be ready on Nov 22".  For what it's worth, the November 22 update wasn't going to bring you functional software anyway.
