When you complete schedule A to be used with the state return it does not print out? Does it get efiled with the state return? Why do I have to go into the federal return and print it out manually? It does not appear when I'm printing the returns.

That's normally because the taxpayer does not have sufficient itemized deductions and is better off claiming standard deduction. If you want to present a Sch A for your client to reference why standard deduction is taken, you can force print Sch A with the return.

What state are you dealing with? Minnesota has it's own "schedule A" to go with the return. Of course, due to software issues, it doesn't print with the return but we have faith that it will do so by October 15th.
