New to the product. Didn't realize that I need to have EFIN authenticated until last night. As today is the deadline, I'm wondering when the authentication process can be done. Extensions are waiting to be e-filed.

It takes a minimum of 45 days to get an EFIN once youve submitted your fingerprints to IRS....looks like you'll be paper filing this year.
Or do you mean sending your EFIN verification to Intuit? Youre still looking at over 24 hours.

I had EFIN from IRS earlier this year. Just found out that I need to submit it to Intuit to have the e-file enabled.
Called Intuit. There is no expedite service on the authentication. I just paper-filed those extensions.
Thanks.
