Good morning,
My client needs to e-sign, as POA for Mom and recently deceased Dad. I can see where Form 2848 needs to be sent in after e-filing along with copy of POA, but unsure how to have her sign as POA during the e-signature process.
Happy Friday! (Be still my beating heart, lol)

There is no POA for someone who has died. Dad is no longer covered under a POA.

Yes, she is poa for Mom and personal rep for Dad. The IRS will want to see both sets of paperwork?

On a joint return, only the surviving spouse's (or her POA's) signature is needed.
