What do you have that doesn't fit into the 3 situations PS gave instructions for ?

IRS Direct Payment system was unusable. SSN kept forcing a dash when instructions were to enter ssn without dahes. IRS rep could not figure how to make it work. Error occurred when clients' ssns were entered but not mine.

Well that is wonky. I've used IRS Direct Pay many times and never had that happen. Maybe reboot your computer and try again.
