My client's paystub has daycare$5,164, pretax daycare $2,135 and child reimbursement $1,962. If I add the pretax day care $2,135 and the child reimbursement $1,962 that equals box 10 of her W2 $4,097. I know the $4,097 flows to line 12 of Form 2441. My question is what amount do I put on the info worksheet for dependent expenses?
Thank you for your help

Thank you for helping me. They paid:
$5,163.84 Daycare and $2,134.65 Pretax daycare plus received ($1,961.53) reimbursement. That totals $5,336.96.
Or do I not consider the pretax of $2,134.65 and just offset the $5,163.84 by the ($1,961.53) for a total of $3,202.31?

In the dependent entry worksheet, you enter what was actually paid for the care, regardless of where the money came from.
On the 2441 you enter what was paid to each daycare provider.
