I have a question about claiming 94 year old parent as dependent. The client passes the support test with the parent.
EIC is N
Code is O (Other Dependent)
Not Qualified credit other Dependent is X
Not Qualifies for child tax credit or Non US is X
I don't see the dependent deduction coming through for the parent.
Please advise ??
Thank you in advance.

Hasn't been a dependent deduction for a few years...just the $500 other dependent credit.

Just to clarify --
This client should be able to take the $500 Credit if all dependent tests are met?
Thank you,
