Is anyone familiar with MD Form 502 for residents? There's a box which is part of Line 22 for EITC. Not sure where to click on that box without overriding it. It allows taxpayers to claim the EITC in MD when they are not eligible for federal taxes.
MD SB218 allows taxpayers with Individual Tax Identification Numbers to claim the EITC. An SSN is required for Federal taxes but MD now allows it per SB218 signed last month.
I checked the Info Worksheet and EITC Wks in MD but don't see this option.

Since the software hasn't been updated for any of the other MD changes yet I guess it hasn't been updated for this either.
And mainly this is because MD hasn't updated its forms and specs yet, which Intuit needs before it can work on the software.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
