It is weird, I have a few that it will let me mark e-filing and some it gives me an error message stating you can't e-file 2020 tax return.

If I save the return and wait for awhile before going back in, it will let me e-file.

So weird.

Figured it out.

It gives you the error message if you have not already started a 1040-X.
