I put a couple of those returns in limbo just to see what shakes out.  I'm sure by October 15th, we will have all of the answers so that we can get the 2020 returns prepared correctly.

Isn't that what a few of us have been saying all along?  But that's not how I read the IRS ten-step program -- it looked to me as though IRS had taxpayers fall off the cliff when the $150K included unemployment.
