Where do I go to verify a tax computation. I had a sale of a rental property with 1250 recapture. I am wanting to ensure the computation was correct, in that I didn't error in inputting the data.
The IRS publishes tax tables - Pub 17? Or on their website.

I think it's part of the Sch D instructions. Don't know if it's in the Pub.
