When I enter HOH on program, with a qualified dependent, I get an error message that I have to

enter the dependent name under No 4 on filing status, with SS# and error message states

that I can't enter same SS# that the dependent that I am claiming.  What am I doing wrong?

You should only need to enter the child as a dependent, marking it as Code L near the end of that dependent input line.  Without Code L you'll get the pink error on Line 4 to fill it in.

I did a code L and it still has the error code under #4  and still the same error code

Maybe remove the dependent (right click, choose Delete Line n table) and re-enter it.
