Greetings --
I have a question about e-filing. I have an individual return that I have E-Filed. I forgot to attach a 300 page Stock Sale detail report. Can I submit the document vis e-filing without having to send it by snail mail?
Thank you in Advance.

The only way you will be able to send the document by efiling is if by luck (?) this clients return is rejected.
Sounds like you'll have to mail with F8453

I never attach anything or mail it in (no human will be looking at any of it), just keep a copy should IRS ever request it in the future.

Yes.... F8453 Open the form, you'll see it says to use the form for supporting documents for an efiled return such as Form 8949 supporting documents
