This issue has been reported to development and should be corrected in a future update. If you have confirmed the local withholding is flowing correctly to the state you can disable the error checking to allow you to e-file today. This article shows you how to bypass the error check to get around this incorrect error.

i asked this the other day..
https://accountants-community.intuit.com/questions/1804574-indiana-local-income-tax-on-1099-gif
basically...if that is the only 'error', just convert and transmit, and uncheck the "enable conversion error checking"
mine went thru, and got accepted by Indiana also

I asked this a few days ago....
https://accountants-community.intuit.com/questions/1804574-indiana-local-income-tax-on-1099-g
I put the locality codes in, etc...and the WH did properly show up on the Indiana Retrun.
the temp solution...is if that is the ONLY error you have.....they told me to 'convert and transmit' that one file, but uncheck the 'enable conversion error checking'. it will default back to being checked after that one return.
I did that...and the Indiana return went thru, and was accepted by Indiana.

This is so frustrating to me as well... It will not accept the codes we were given, and keeps going back to the prior code 😕
