Interest doesn't go on the 6252. It goes wherever you'd enter any other interest income.

But ProSeries does have a box to actually enter interest on the 6252 worksheet.

They are different. As a matter of fact, if you enter a -1 into the software, you actually end up with a -1 :wink:

LOL...I had a K-1 last year where the rental loss actually WAS -1. I had to finagle things to get the totals to match.
