I did check out the 8332, but wasn't sure if the supplied half support applied to non custodial tp even with the 8332 completed. Child lived with custodial parent, was supported by custodial parent, and only visited non custodial parent.

From the instructions on the 8332:
1. The noncustodial parent can claim the
child as a dependent without regard to any
condition (such as payment of support)
