I have a client, mom, three children. Mom does not have a social security. Three children were born in us and have a valid social security number. I have proseries Basic program and I was trying to recover rebate that it won't do the calculation for me. Can someone please help me. I go to line 30 of 1040 and directs me to the recovery worksheet and i enter the amounts the client is entitle to recover but it wont take it, i called Intuit for assistant and i spoke to two different agent but they were not able to assist me. Please help.

I believe either taxpayer or spouse needs an SSN for he kids with SSNs to qualify.
I think you may be out of luck, sorry.

Unfortunately for her, she does not qualify.
In order to get the credit based on the kids, the taxpayer needs a valid Social Security Number.
