My client was given a 1099-NEC from his employer at Instacart which does shopping for people. He was given a Independent Contractor Agreement when he started. I found the 1099-NEC form on the software but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to chose Schedule C, Schedule F or Form 8919. Can anyone help me with this.

Unless he is growing the food that he is going to deliver, I would stay away from schedule F and go with schedule C.

"Can anyone help me with this."
Google can. Your client needs to be keeping records, as well.

Oh, for this: "or Form 8919"
Schedule C needs the SE.
