Taxpayer who lives in US all year long brought his spouse and daughter from Mexico in Nov 17 2020. He wants to apply for an ITIN for his spouse and his child to file his taxes? I am aware if you have dependents with ITIN living in Mexico the taxpayer no longer can claim in in his income tax. Would I there be have issues since his family has being in the usa for only a month and half. Any advice?.
Would his child & spouse qualify for an ITIN to claim them in his income tax?
