It converts but doesn't transmit. No error messages, just no transmitting.

Individual return?
Because efiling doesn't open February 12.
The more I know the more I don’t know.

Individual 2019 return. Is efiling for 2019 also still closed?

The IRS closes it, so it applies to all software and all returns.

I'm glad to know we are not the only one with this problem. We can convert 2019 files but then when we transmit we just get the hourglass. No error messages. I was told by ProSeries that we should get a message even though the IRS is not open for efile. Hopefully when they open it will be resolved.

"we should get a message even though the IRS is not open for efile. Hopefully when they open it will be resolved."
That's funny.
There is no problem to resolve. No one is there to accept the return, because IRS is Closed for Efile of individual returns. It resolves itself when they reopen, because they will be open and accepting returns.
Don't yell at us; we're volunteers
