They have always sent a disk, I would think they will for 2020, but you will have to call or wait and see

You don't have to have a disk sent. You can still opt for the download option.

A few years back they started giving you the option of whether you want just the download option or the download and the CD. Some states will require sales tax to be charged on CDs but not downloads. MN charges tax whether you get it on 5 - 1/4 floppies or the download. In case I need to prepare a tax return for 1966 in the year 2045, I go with the hard copy option. I'll have a better chance of getting the floppies to work than I will downloading the program at that point.
