how do i amend and efile 1120 s pro series desktop professional 2019.  I copied and renamed original file and when I efile...rejected due to duplicate EIN

I don't copy and rename anything. 

Just save a PDF of the original (if its not correct, why would you keep a tax file for it), mark the Amended checkbox on the original return, make the corrections, check the Efile Amended checkbox on the Fed Info worksheet and Efile the amended return.
