I believe an update has happened in the software that backs out the self-employment deduction from the qualified business income (for purposes of QBI deduction). It did not do it earlier this week but is now doing it.

As it should, based on the recent (1.18.19) IRS notice. SEHI, and a SE retirement contribution should also reduce QBID
