prior year is 2017 prepared using ProConnect Online
current year is 2018 Proseries Professional and Basic for 1040's.
I used proconnect one year out of the last 12 using Proseries, and learned that I prefer Proseries; so I have switched back.

It is possible, as confirmed by Intuit (unofficially), but it must be done offline by Intuit. Also, the conversion must first be to Lacerte, which you then use to export the data for conversion to PS. This means you'd need at least a REP subscription to Lacerte just to do that.
Intuit suggests doing the conversion manually if the volume is low because the offline process is very time consuming but we're waiting for a confirmation of what that manual process entail.

HERE IT IS:
I had ProConnectOnline in 2017, then ProSeries in 2018, have decided I'd prefer to use ProConnect again in 2019. How do I convert my 2018 info or do I need to?
All my 2017 clients are showing up in the 2019 listing for creating new returns for but I'm just thinking it would be easier for me if the info in Proseries (2018) were converted to ProConnect Online because the skipping of the 2018 year will inevitably leave out major changes in business client reporting such as depreciation or sales of rental real estate, etc...
JUST REALIZED itonewbie has already given me an answer before I even posted this question to the 3 of you! So, itonewbie, Thank you for being the champion you claim to be!
