Hello, A client brought to me his uncompleted and unfiled returns from 2018 1040 and 2018 1120S from another preparer. He had issues with the prior preparer. He wants me to complete it. Can I upload his current PDF return into my Proseries and start to work on it? It would save me hours of work.

Nope... I don't know of any software that will do that. *IF* you could get the actual file from the prior preparer, PS could probably convert it.

Hi,
I know this is an old thread, but I want to just note for anyone seeing this post in the future that you absolutely could have used tax import for the 1120S. I did it for a client who had a similar situation. There is definitely a way and it does save HOURS of data entry.
