I need to know how to convert the client data to a pdf file, not for attachment of pdf data but to access the entire client file to a pdf

What are you trying to accomplish by "converting" to a pdf?

I thought maybe they're trying to convert it to a format that they can pull the data from a pdf into tax program....we may never know.

You can't convert the client files to a pdf. All you can do is print the return to a pdf.

If you use Proseries

Open the client file, when you go to print the return, change the option to pdf instead of printer before sending it to the printer
