If the original due date has passed, then your only option is to make payment on the date of Efiling.  They wont reprogram for that, its the way its always been.

Will they let you make 1041 payment on IRS DirectPay (Ive never tried)? 

If so, then you could schedule it whenever you'd like.

Or transmit it on the date payment will be made.
