MA Client filing Married filing Joint has a Grantor Trust that only item is a 1099-R. The Trust allocates the 1099-R income to both of them 50/50.
I was able to prepare the Grantor Trust no issues. Federal is efiled and MA produced form 2G, which will be signed and filed. NO issues There.
I'm trying to recall how the 1099-R flows to the client. Do i just report the 1099-R normally in Proseries? Is there something I have to click to indicate its from a grantor trust? Or do I need to include a note with the return?

Are you sure you even need a Grantor Trust return?
But yes, report the 1099-R in the individuals' return the same way you would if it was issued to them.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
