No, thank goodness.  Can you imagine how easy that would be to get them tangled up?

Sure.  All you need is two computers.

Iron ranger, you don’t need 2 computers. It can be done on one with 2-4 monitors…..you just have to purchase 2 Proseries subscriptions

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

why? omg? I have too many files all over the place as it is - Hard enough to keep track of what I'm doing with 1 client at a time let alone 2.

It would actually help when preparing 8615's with multiple children. A pain to go back and forth.

When I am working on a client who I need info from and who I know will call me back in 10 minutes when they say 10 minutes, I leave them open on the desktop and walk 8 feet to the laptop and start on someone else there.  I have found it to save time instead of picking up one client who I know I will be opening up again in a matter of minutes.

@Frustrated-in-IL  My refrigerator is a lot closer than my second desk  . . .

I don't need a refrigerator.  I like my Fireball at room temperature and it is ALWAYS within arms reach.

But once you set up two computers, you need to make an important decision.  Which hand for which computer?  I highly recommend the right hand for the right computer and the left hand for the left computer.  People may disagree though.
