We need assistance in inputting the new Military Retirement Exclusion for California tax payers. We are using Proseries Professional.

well, Im not seeing it anywhere either.
I saw that TurboTax has a place for it when you enter the 1099R, so I figured PS would as well....maybe Im looking right past it...Im not seeing a spot for the subtraction on the 540 Form CA either, so I cant even chase it back to the point of entry
@Kathi_at_Intuit is it staring me right in the face?

It's an adjustment on California Sch CA, page 1, line 5 (pensions etc...).
Lacerte has a box to check "qualifies for military exclusion" on the W-2 input screen.
Maybe this will help you PS users track it down?

We have generic lines to enter adjustments like that, I just expected it to have its own line that would flow from somewhere, since TT was updated for it, I figured PS would be too....shame on me!
@Stevan looks like you can enter it manually on the 540 Form CA
