I was not aware the IRS stopped issuing checks as of 9/25. I now have an individual who needs to establish an IDme account to enter bank information. This client is totally lost navigating such things, does anyone know if there is an alternative for him to get his refund?
Thank you, YLC

I'm guessing this post is spurred by a new CP53E Notice. My understanding is that the IRS will still send a check in six weeks.
See Q5/A5:

My guess is that the check will go out just before the IRS is required to pay interest on the refund. Post back and let us know what happens.
