I sent a request for e-signature on federal (F8879) and NJ (NJ-8879) e-file authorizations. Taxpayer husband and wife indicated that only the federal authorization was available to sign. Intuit phone assistance said that NJ relies upon the federal, but NJ instructions indicate that NJ-8879 is required. While I know my various options here, has anyone encountered the same with NJ e-signature requests for e-file authorizations?
