When will Proseries have the state modules ready? We're waiting on Texas franchise reports (specifically Form 05-102, Form TX 05-169, Form TX 05-158-A, etc.).

Thank you but that's for the forms (release date and e-file availablity); not the actual modules in ProSeries. I'm looking for WHEN Intuit will release the update to install various states; specifically Texas.

Hi @Laner43 Thanks for posting in the Community about when Intuit will release the update to install various states, specifically Texas. We checked on this and per Development this link (also shared by @sjrcpa) shows final dates for all states by form.

Thank you for the link, @Kathi_at_Intuit I may not have worded my question clearly, so I wanted to clarify.
I’m not asking when Texas allows e-filing by form. I’m trying to determine when ProSeries will actually release the Texas state module so that we can begin preparing Texas franchise tax returns in the software.
Right now, the issue isn’t e-file approval — it’s that the Texas module itself has not yet been released in ProSeries. Do you have an estimated timeline for when that module will be available?
Thank you for your help.

Did anyone receive an answer on this? The Intuit Tax Form Availability says "ProSeries does not support this module". Is ProSeries planning to offer Texas Franchise forms?

Hi @Laner43 Thanks so much for the clarification. We have had other members in the Community ask when the state modules will be available. When we checked with our Development team, they confirmed that the Tax Forms Availability information reflects the final release dates for each state by form.
Thanks again for checking, and we appreciate your patience as we continue releasing the state modules.

Can the Moderator answer the Question that is Specific to the Texas Module?
The Link provided in this Thread, as it pertains to Texas, states the following:
"ProSeries does not support this module"
Will ProSeries not be providing a Module for Texas?

Texas franchise returns will be supported by Proseries for individual, corporate, s-corp, partnership and fiduciary filers as in previous years. We are working with the team to update the messaging on the Forms Availability link to communicate this better to users. To see the current expected availability for the Texas product, please go to the Tax form availability page and select "1120 Corporation" and "Texas".
Current information shows 02-13-2026.

Thank you for the clarification. However, your comment specifically does NOT address whether or not ProSeries is going to provide the software to prepare a Texas Franchise Tax Return or Public Information Report for the following entity types: 1120-S and 1065. It seems odd that ProSeries supports the Texas Reporting for the 1120 but, at present, NOT the 1120-S or 1065. It also seems odd that this is not ready to go at the beginning of filing season.
Therefore, please clarify the following: a) will ProSeries support Texas filings for and 1120-S and 1065; b) even if we cannot print, when will that software be available; and c) if supported, on what date will we be able to print a Texas Public Information Report or a Texas Franchise Tax Return for and 1120-S and 1065. (And please do not refer me to the availability of a Texas return applicable to the 1120.) Thank you!

The answer to1st question was in my previous post. "Texas franchise returns will be supported by Proseries for individual, corporate, s-corp, partnership and fiduciary filers as in previous years."
This means 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065 and 1041 filers will be able to file the Texas Franchise product.
As for your 2nd question, we understand the inconvenience preparers encounter regarding the unavailability of the Texas product. I don't have any more information about a release date that is not already published in the link below. Due to their May 15 filing deadline, Texas does not quite follow the same timetables as other jurisdictions.
