I AM A TAX PROFESSIONAL IN MICHIGAN. THE 1040-V SHOWS THE MAILING ADDRESS AS AUSTIN TEXAS. THE IRS WEBSITE SHOWS LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY FOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN MICHIGAN. WHICH IS RIGHT?

@Kathi_at_Intuit tagging worked this time!
Can you make sure the mailing addresses are being updated for the 2025 year, they changed a bunch of them this summer, but it sounds like the software hasnt gotten that updated yet.
@Taxlady44 you should explain to your clients, mailing checks may not be an option much longer, IRS is phasing them out, they want everyone to pay electronically, and give them written instructions for paying with IRS DirectPay.

"they want everyone to pay electronically"
As long as we still need more money to buy Greenland, at the end of tax season I would be interested to hear how many folks had the IRS mail checks back to them.
