My name is Joseph [removed], and I have been a loyal ProSeries user for over 40 years under the business name Joseph Chung’s Tax Svc. My previous ProSeries account number was [removed #].
In 2024, I sold my business, and the buyer purchased the 2024 ProSeries program using my existing account. As a result, I no longer have access to my historical client data accumulated over the past 40 years.
Now, in 2025, I plan to resume my tax preparation business and would like to purchase the new ProSeries program under my own name again.
Could you please advise me on the following:
- Do I need to create a new ProSeries account to purchase and use the 2025 program under my name?
- As a long-time Tax ProAdvisor, I used to receive a discounted purchase price. Would I still be eligible for this discount if I purchase the 2025 ProSeries program now?
I would appreciate your guidance and assistance in restoring access to my data (if possible) and setting up my new account correctly.
