My computer is too old to upgrade to Windows 11. I prefer not to do a computer upgrade right now. I have extended the Windows 10 support on Microsoft. I am 82 years old and want to prepare taxes one last year using ProSeries Basic - 50 clients. I have received an e-mail from Intuit saying they strongly suggest upgrading to Windows 11. Am I going to have any problems running the software, e-filing, etc?

The software should run fine, its the security of the Windows system that would be in question since there wont be anymore Win 10 updates with updated security patches.

If you g**gle it there are numerous instruction posts on how to install windows 11 on computers which don't meet microsoft technical specifications. I did it recently on an older laptop recently and it all worked fine, accepts updates etc.
It may slow down your computer slightly, but it might be worth a try.
