Hello all, when printing to DMS from ProSeries 2018, I am having the exact issue outlined in this article: https://accountants-community.intuit.com/articles/1613466-you-must-run-dms-first-to-create-a-dms-dat...

and the fix given isn't working. Our DMS file is set up with several hundred clients, but even if it is already open, ProSeries is acting like one has never been set up. 

Both programs did not have the "run this program as administrator" box checked. I changed it so both had this box checked--no change.

This is a network install, ProSeries and DMS data hosted on our network drive, but every other computer in the office can print to DMS just fine. Mine is running Windows 10.

DMS and network means you are dealing with things that most of the regular visitors here don't deal with.  The best suggestion I can come up with is trying giving support a call.

Check to be sure you are up to date with DMS. There have been updates recently.
