I used to close the columns I didn't want, then highlight the clients I want, sort in the order I want, then print to PDF before printing on paper from the PDF.

I do it differently, I export HomeBase to a .csv file, open up Excel and then sort for any item I wish to.

That works, too. Then you can do your sorting and filtering in Excel or whatever.
