When preparing a DE resident return for a taxpayer that has income sourced to Michigan, I'm getting a message from proseries that Delaware does not allow attaching the MI return to support the credit and the DE return must be filed manually. Yet I don't see anything in the DE resident instruction to that effect.
Any insights from practitioners who do DE resident returns??

I do not prepare Delaware returns....
If Proseries doesn't automatically attach Michigan with Delaware can you do a PDF attachment of the MI information ?

I got the message before I attached the MI pdf. Mid tax season blooper.
Reset the return and I did the attachment ( there's now a drop down to select specific states that are being attached) and now clearing final review.
